Course Overview

🚀 Microsoft Innovation Challenge

Program Overview

The Microsoft Innovation Challenge is a structured, hands-on learning experience designed to help you build real-world technical skills using Microsoft Azure technologies. You will select one technical track, complete guided Microsoft Learn content, participate in instructor-supported sessions, and demonstrate your skills through applied submissions aligned to an innovation-focused challenge.

This program emphasizes learning by doing, practical application, and professional skill development using industry-recognized tools and platforms.

Choose Your Track

You will select one of the following learning tracks. Each track follows the same structure but focuses on different technical outcomes.

AZ-204 – Azure Developer

  • Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using core Azure services.

AI-102 – Azure AI Engineer

  • Design and integrate AI-powered solutions using Azure cognitive services and Azure OpenAI.

DP-100 – Azure Data Scientist

  • Develop, train, and operationalize machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning.

⚠️ You will focus on one track only. Attempting multiple tracks at the same time is not allowed.

How the Program Is Structured

Each track includes the following components:

📚 Microsoft Learn Content

You will complete curated Microsoft Learn modules that provide the foundational knowledge for your selected track. These modules are self-paced and serve as the primary learning material.

🧑‍🏫 Live Classroom Sessions

Instructor-led sessions and office hours provide guidance, clarification, and applied context for the Microsoft Learn material. Attendance is encouraged but recordings may be available depending on the session.

📝 Module Submissions

You will submit evidence of completion and understanding for assigned modules. These submissions are used to track progress and engagement.

🛠️ Applied Skills Submissions

You will complete applied exercises or challenge-based work that demonstrates your ability to use Azure tools and concepts in real-world scenarios. These submissions emphasize practical skill application over theory.

What You Are Responsible For

To participate successfully, you must:

  • Select and commit to one learning track
  • Complete assigned Microsoft Learn modules
  • Submit required module and applied skills work
  • Maintain access to a personal Azure account (subscription setup is your responsibility)
